Right of withdrawal

For consumers

The following information concerns contracts for legal services concluded with consumers at a distance or away from business premises where a statutory right of withdrawal applies.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Marten & Graner Rechtsanwälte, Kurfürstendamm 92, 10709 Berlin, Telefon: 030 / 890 64 40, E-Mail: [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; you will not incur fees as a result of reimbursement.

If you requested that services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay an amount proportionate to the services already provided up to the time you informed us of your withdrawal, compared with the full coverage of the contract.

Early expiry

For a contract requiring you to pay a price, the right of withdrawal expires when the services have been fully performed only if, before performance began, you expressly consented to performance starting during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that full performance would result in the loss of your right of withdrawal.
